Opening of Monkey Distribution's first official Funko store in Abu Dhabi, which open New Store on December 15. Monkey Distribution, Funko's franchise operator in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been active in the region since its establishment in 2016, focusing on distributing the latest Funko merchandise to retailers.
The new store is situated in Reem Mall, and its opening attracted numerous enthusiastic fans eager to acquire the latest Funko Pop releases. This marks Monkey Distribution's third Funko franchise location in the UAE, following successful openings in Dubai Hills Mall and Dubai Mall.
The Abu Dhabi branch offers a wide range of Funko products, including collectibles, Loungefly fashion accessories, games, and toys.
A representative from Monkey Distribution expressed excitement about the opening, highlighting it as a significant milestone and thanking fans for their support. They also hinted at the possibility of more Funko stores opening in the region in the future.
Reem Mall, where the new store is located, is described as a prominent retail, leisure, dining, and entertainment destination in Abu Dhabi. Spanning 2 million square feet, the mall hosts approximately 400 international and local brands and features family-focused entertainment offerings, including one of the largest indoor snow parks in the region.
